So April is National Poetry Month and to start it off, Tarrant County College (NW Campus) booked Red Steagall, the Cowboy Poet. The event will also feature a Texas swing band complete with two-step dancers and free snacks. The Texas State Legislature named Steagall "The Official Cowboy Poet of Texas in April of 1991" and "2006 Poet Laureate of the State of Texas."
I found a clip of one of his songs ("The Rain Don't Ever Stop in Oklahoma"), where Dave in Tucson commented that "HE'S ONE SEXY BITCH!" even though Steagall isn't in the video. Steagall just might have started the trend of bringing sexy back.
