Twenty-eight Fort Worth students advance to State Science Fair

Animal Science, Math, Astronomy - oh my.

Fort Worth ISD students from Dunbar HS, Paschal HS, Southwest HS and the Applied Learning Academy won more than 80% of all the awards given recently at the Fort Worth Regional Science Fair at the University of North Texas.

These twenty-eight winners will now advance to the Exxon Mobile Texas State Science Fair next week in San Antonio.

Animal Science

  • 1st place- Elizabeth Mosteiro, Paschal HS- $100.00

Biochemistry

  • 1st place - Victoria Vo, Dunbar HS

Chemistry

  • 1st place- Laura Willis, Paschal HS- $100
  • 3rd Place- Samantha Costa Crouch, Paschal HS- $50.00
