TWU welcomes Texas Wesleyan for softball double header and free pizza
On Wednesday, April 4, the Texas Woman’s University Pioneers softball team will welcome the Texas Wesleyan University Rams to Pioneer Field for a softball doubleheader. The two games are scheduled for 5 and 7 p.m. Wednesday’s contests have been dubbed Pioneer Pride and Pizza Night. Free pizza, courtesy of CiCi’s Pizza, will be given out to all fans (while supplies last). The pizza giveaway will begin at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Between the conclusion of game one and the start of game two, a large contingent of TWU student-athletes will be honored as part of National Student Athlete Day. All of the TWU student-athletes who earned a 3.0 GPA or higher in the fall 2006 semester will receive a certificate of recognition and be introduced to the crowd on hand.
TWU students, faculty and staff are admitted free to all home TWU athletic events with a valid TWU ID. Adult softball tickets are $4 while non-TWU students, senior citizens, and children ages 7-17 are admitted for just $3.
