Pegasus News Election Survey: Carl Tyson, Euless City Council - Place 1
Here at Pegasus News, we sent a short questionnaire out to every candidate running for public office in the greater-DFW area.
Carl Tyson , who is running for Euless City Council – Place 1, recently sent back his answers to the questionnaire.
Pegasus: What is the one greatest thing that the Euless City Council has achieved in the past year?
Tyson: We completed our bonded road projects which included Westpark Way, Highway 157, Harwood Road, Main Street and Pipeline Road.
Pegasus: What is the single biggest improvement that the Euless City Council needs?
Tyson: We need to work on economic development issues.
Pegasus: What is the toughest problem that you have ever solved?
Tyson:We had two vacant big box stores on Highway 157 which now have been remodeled with new owners.
Pegasus: If you are elected and can only achieve ONE quantifiable thing in your term, what would it be?
Tyson: Our sales tax will be increased 30% with aggressive economic development to relieve the pressure on property taxes.
