Mayoral candidates had a little forum at Dallas’ Hotel Palomar
DALLAS The DMN -- OK, Dave Levinthal -- has a cool item on the mayoral forum that went down last night at Hotel Palomar, which he mentions was good as far as young-voter turnout and speculates that it's because they had alcohol. Which, yes, although one might posit that having the forum at a swanky place like the Palomar doesn't hurt either.
Anyway, there's more forums coming up, including two on Thursday: at noon at the Royal Oaks Country Club at 7915 Greenville Avenue; and at 6:30 p.m. at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center, 1441 North Beckley Avenue.

Sounded like a decent event but why should we have to pay to hear them speak?
