Allen Gwinn says Dallas mayoral candidate Gary Griffith had an illegal S-PAC
DALLAS Little doubt that Allen Gwinn won't be voting for Gary Griffith in May. After an earlier post on his Dallas.org site poking at Griffith's campaign claims, Gwinn now points out a potentially illegal Specific-Purpose Action Committee (SPAC) operating under the name "Friends of Gary Griffith." That's the name that has been listed as paying for Griffith's website and many of his campaign materials.
Griffith's camp hasn't responded to Gwinn's questions, but his website has changed. According to the Texas Ethics Commission, if the original SPAC on the signs was inaccurate, they must all be altered or replaced.

Despite what Gary's latest commercial would have us believe, apparently Rudy Guiliani isn't one of them.
