This Friday night, Dallas Theater Center is offering one of their educational outreach programs with a spoken word, open mic event, titled Daverse Lounge. DTC does this to cultivate new ways of thinking and expose a new generation to non-traditional performance forms.
DaVerse lounge will feature non-competitive poetry by those under 21 years. It will be hosted by local award-winning performance poet, Will Richey while Faint Image will accompany participants during the spoken word event with their blend of jazz, blues, rock, and world music.
The event is free and complimentary Starbucks will be provided all night. Don't forget to snap!
