Pegasus News Election Survey: Mark Born, candidate for Grapevine City Council - Place 3
Here at Pegasus News, we sent a short questionnaire out to every candidate running for public office in the greater-DFW area.
Mark Born, who is running for Grapevine City Council – Place 3, recently sent back his answers to the questionnaire.
Pegasus: What is the one greatest thing that the Glenn Heights City Council has achieved in the past year?
Born: Successfully passed the referendum on the polic, parks and rail with majority voter acceptance.
Pegasus: What is the single biggest improvement that the Glenn Heights City Council needs?
Born: Not any because they are highly collaborative and get things done as a cohesive group.
Pegasus: What is the toughest problem that you have ever solved?
Born: Holding the GCISD tax note while cutting overhead and improving student test scores. All were done successfully during my tenure as president of the GCISD Board of Trustees.
Pegasus: If you are elected and can only achieve ONE quantifiable thing in your term, what would it be?
Born: The complete (100%) maximation of the available retail space in grapevine with preferred retail.
