L.D. Bell High school to put on Future Raiders Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival
The Key Club at L.D. Bell High School is sponsoring its seventh annual Future Raiders Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival at 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 7. This free event will take place in the practice fields by the school and is open to all children who are toddlers through those in fifth grade.
The egg hunt will begin at 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. Jennifer Cruze, Key Club sponsor, said there will be plenty of eggs for everyone.
"We will hide about 12-thousand plastic eggs, and each one will have candy or a prize inside," Cruze said. "We originally designed this event for future Raiders who will someday attend LD Bell High School, but now it's open to the public."
Other activities will include carnival games, face painting, and a cake walk. There will be live rabbits for viewing, and the Easter Bunny will be on hand as well.
This event is organized by Key Club students, who organized the Homeless Help-Out in February as part of their volunteer service.
