Merkow’s croaks
If Merkow's had served this delectable surf 'n' turf dish starring one gorgeous 8-ounce filet mignon with peppercorn sauce accompanied by a luscious, buttery lobster tail and dressed with a sprig of watercress, do you suppose it would still be in business today? Food for thought.
DALLAS Nancy Nichols at D magazine's FrontBurner pronounces Merkow's, a sortof seafood-sortof steakhouse place that it seemed like hardly anyone ever went to, dead.
