South Oak Cliff basketball wins third state title in a row
With a win over Beaumont Ozen High School in March, the South Oak Cliff High School boys basketball team made state basketball history.
South Oak Cliff’s Golden Bears have won the Class 4A Texas High School state title three times in a row. Because the school’s last run of state titles ended in 1984, South Oak Cliff High School is celebrating this year’s state championship with gusto.
On March 31, the school held a parade and whooped it up with food, music, dancing, slam-dunk contests, three-on-three basketball, and more, to celebrate the historic win.
