Six DFW teams vying for state soccer titles
State soccer action starts on Thursday.
Plano West (23-2-2) girls take on Flower Mound Marcus (25-1-3) on Friday at 1 p.m. The 5A state semifinal game will be a re-match from Jan., where the Lady Wolves handed the Lady Marauders their only loss of the season.
The Colony girls (23-3-4) take on Wichita Falls on Thursday at 1 p.m in the 4A semifinal game.
The 5A boys final could be a DFW showdown, but Plano West (19-5) and Marcus (28-0) will have to take down their competition. The Marauders take the field first to face Brownsville Rivera at 4 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves are up against Katy Morton Ranch at 6 p.m.
Frisco (18-4-3) will join The Colony for some Thursday soccer action. The lone area representative for the 4A boys title will look to defeat Palestine at 6 p.m.
Here is the bracket in all its complete-bracket glory.
