Mansfield ISD would like you to name their new school(s)
Because the Mansfield Independent School District is currently in the process of designing and constructing new schools in the District, they are on the lookout for the "next great name."
If you're feeling particularly creative, go to their homepage and access the submission flashplayer. Here are the guidelines:
High Schools
Historically, MISD High Schools have been named for geographic features of the area in which the school site is located. Current High Schools are: Mansfield, Mansfield Summit and Mansfield Timberview. "Mansfield " will always be part of high school names to identify that school as a Mansfield ISD school.
Elementary/Middle School
Mansfield ISD schools serving K-8 students have historically been named for retired Mansfield ISD educators and administrators. But some exceptions exist.
