Creekview High School to host “closest to the pin” golf contest
Creekview High School will host the Fourth Annual 100 Yards Closest to the Pin Contest on Apr. 20 -21 at Golden Bear Golf Center. The prize is $1,000 cash. The entry fee is $5.00 for six shots or $10 for 15 shots, and there is no limit to the number of shots taken. The event is open to everyone 18 years or older. Come any time on Fri., Apr. 20, from 10:00 a.m. to close or Sat., Apr. 21, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to qualify for the final round. The top 10 finalists from Friday and Saturday will return Saturday for a $1,000 shootout. Each qualifier will have six shots for the grand prize, and there will be prizes awarded to all finalists. So come to the Golden Bear Golf Center located at 2538 Golden Bear Drive (off Trinity Mills between Marsh and Midway) and help the Creekview golf team.
