TXU in trouble again: report of legal threats against possible buyer
The shady backroom saga continues with allegations of legal threats against a buyer.

DALLAS According to this report in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears the backroom shenanigans are hardly over for TXU. In an inspired move, TXU is now being accused of threatening legal action against a potential bidder, Hunt-owned Sharyland Utilities, in a questionable move to keep the energy company out of the buyout process.
The report was part of Public Utility Commission Chairman Paul Hudson's testimony to the House Committee Meeting, and is being denied by TXU. This follows on a month's worth of questionable business moves surrounding the buyout, including this, this, this and of course this, with undoubtedly more fun on the way.
