NASCAR races in Fort Worth this weekend likely met by WINTRYICEMIXSPRINGMAGEDDON
FORT WORTH There's an unfortunate convergence of dual events going on this weekend that would seem to promise misery at the Texas Motor Speedway.
The track hosts two big racing events this weekend: The Samsung 500, which begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday; and a "qualifying" run for the Nextel Cup race today (Friday).
At the same time, there's another one of those weather events being predicted, with words such as "thunderstorms," "severe," "damaging wind," "hail," and "possible tornadoes" being tossed out for Friday.
