In case anybody noticed, the world stopped turning for about an hour on Wednesday around noon.
OK, not exactly, but the news did stop spinning out of the Pegasus offices for a little while because Circus della Morte stopped by and no employee was foolish enough to miss the free, live show and interview. News schmews.
Circus della Morte is currently North Texas' only performing circus sideshow, made up of Mr. N. Visible, the "human pincushion and all around masochist," Abra Cadavra, the contortionist and masticator extraordinaire, and of course, Kenny, who wields various weapons that he uses on Mr. N. Visible.
Needless to say, this isn't your basic clown and horsey circus meant for the kiddos. Check out the video below to see some of this troupe's extraordinary talents.
We also managed to get this group to put down the swords and broken glass for a bit to talk about the circus, including how the circus got started, how they each became a part of it, how people can join or learn the tricks of their trade, and upcoming performances, among other topics.
Catch Circus della Morte live for yourself at the Fry Street Fair this Saturday, April 14. If you go, maybe you can stand on Mr. N. Visible's head, too.
