Why on earth does the RSS feed for this story read (only) "Killing people is wrong"?

That whole story made me sick. What Clark did, that people like him challenge the rest of us on what to do with people like him, that people worry about the method of execution being too humane, and that by killing him we are no better he is.

Laura -- because it's not news. If it were a link to an editorial, and that was the short summation of the position, it would be understandable. When I'm looking to see which news stories are worth a closer look, that doesn't add any substance at all. It's not in keeping with being a "legitimate" news source.

We add irreverent/dumb teases to stories all the time. This one's no different. Consider it part of our charm :)

Akira Sato Jazz trumpeter Akira Sato, by way of Tokyo, Japan and Vancouver, Canada, is an SMU faculty member and director of The Meadow Jazz Orchestra at SMU. He is also an adjunct faculty member at UNT where he teaches jazz arranging. Sato is also heading into the studio soon with other area musicians and playing at the Scat Jazz Lounge tonight. With all that he's up to, the least you could do is order a Scotch on the rocks and chill to some tunes. (Photo by flickr user arteunporro. More info
