UNT Mean Green to hold annual basketball banquet for men’s and women’s teams
The North Texas men's and womens basketball teams will hold their annual banquet on Wednesday, April 25 at the University of North Texas Union. Doors open at 6:30 pm and dinner will be served at 7 pm.

North Texas Athletics Deputy Director Hank Dickenson will serve as the master of ceremonies for the evening. North Texas Athletic Director Rick Villarreal and University President Dr. Gretchen Bataille will both speak prior to highlight videos and presentation of awards by each team.
The Mean Green men's squad is celebrating the best season in school history. North Texas piled up a school-record 23 victories while winning its first Sun Belt Conference Championship, and advanced to its first NCAA Tournament since 1988.
