Farmers Insurance Texas hit with 1,300+ claims from Friday weather event
As of 3:00 p.m. CDT, Sunday, April 15, the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies reported that claims adjusters, agents, and extra claim team personnel have responded to more than 1,300 claims from the tornado and storms that struck the area from Dallas to San Antonio on Friday.
"Farmers' customers who have suffered damage from the tornado and storms that have not been contacted by Farmers should call the 24-hour HelpPoint number for immediate assistance,” explained Farmers' state executive director Larry Pratt. "Because of the nature of the storms, adjusters continue to contact Farmers’ customers to make sure they are being helped."
The Farmers number for customers to call is 1-800-HelpPoint (1-800-435-7764).
