— According to a story in the Dallas Business Journal, the Sulentic Family Foundation has agreed to set up over $1 million in scholarships for DISD seniors. The money will be used to give $20,000 scholarships to 10 seniors from each of the 2007-2011 graduating classes.

In October of 2000 Robert Sulentic was elected President and CEO of Trammell Crow Company, and in April, 2002 he became Chairman of the Board. Last year the Sulentic's son Matt, an outfielder for Hillcrest High school, won the area triple crown by hitting .654 with 20 home runs and 59 RBIs. Oakland selected him in the third round with the 98th overall pick, the highest draft pick from the Dallas ISD since Roosevelt's Edward Randolph went 73rd overall in 1993.
