The Rose Marine Theater, which is the home of the Latin Arts Association, is offering two special events this upcoming weekend. On Friday, April 20, they are holding an opening reception for the new exhibit, III-Paintings, Photographs, & Sculpture, which showcases three distinctive artists in their early 20's (Carlos Guerrera, Pedro Solano and Alicia Price) with three unique styles. Music by DJ So*Los will accompany the event.

On Saturday, the band CANTA - Rhythm & Brass will be performing at 7:30 p.m. They blend big band, motown, classic Rock, disco, 50's salsa/tejano, Texas blues and Top 40 hits. They spice it up with a Latin flair, featuring instruments such as the congas.

Tickets are $7-12 for the music event, so to RSVP, call 817-624-8333.
