Texas-OU game to stay at Cotton Bowl
DALLAS WFAA and the DMN could not be happier about their insider info that Dallas Mayor Laura Miller will announce that the Texas-OU game will be at the Cotton Bowl through 2015. They got it from "several officials at Dallas City Hall, who asked to remain unnamed" -- how Sherlock Holmesian is that!
This top-secret announcement is coming tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. at a news conference at the Cotton Bowl.

Thank you to the schools who see the value of tradition, spirit and playing in the colorful sunshine at a National Landmark.
They could not be bought off by the meretricious magnetism of the mercenary Mr. Jones.
By 2015 the Traitor Dome in Arlington will be outdated and I predict the Cotton Bowl game will come back home to the most unique stadium in the USA at Fair Park.

no part of $1.1 billion dollars can by tradition, legacy or decades of classic football games played there. Cheers to State Fair of Texas, Fair Park and the behind the scenes players that made this happen.
