Man sentenced to 15 years in prison for bringing “cheese” to Thomas Jefferson HS

2

19 year-old Luis Soto was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being busted in possession of over 40 hits of cheese on the Thomas Jefferson High School campus. Soto was a senior at the time. His attorney felt that he should have received probation since Soto had no prior criminal record. They argued that Soto did not turn new kids onto "cheese" but rather only supplied those kids that were already hooked on the drug.

Can someone explain to those who are not informed, what is 'cheese'. I can assume it is a drug of some kind. I've cracked open 3 articles in relation to the reference of 'cheese', but none of them have an explanation. Thanks

Mike Orren, says:

Yes, Martigyrl. The lack of explanation is because it has become such a problem and common story in the DFW area that it is common knowledge around here.

"Cheese" is heroin mixed with Tylenol PM. Dangerous and cheap.
