Carroll High School senior recipient of Corporate Merit Scholarship
Carroll senior Sumant Manne was one of 1,000 high school seniors chosen as recipients of corporate-sponsored Merit Scholarship awards. More than 300 companies, foundations and businesses participate annually in financially supporting these awards for students.
Sumant's scholarship was sponsored by Motorola. He plans to study medicine. Sumant was chosen from a group of 2007 National Merit Scholarship finalists.
The winners of college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships will be announced in May and July. Congratulations Sumant.
