ARLINGTON The Texas Rangers rallied for three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning Sunday night, beating the A's 4-3. The win brings the up-and-down Rangers to 8-10 on the year.
The rally was sparked by Hank Blalock, who went 3-for-4 on the day with a critical two-run single in the eighth. After closer Eric Gagne appeared to injure himself with just one out in the ninth, Akinori Otsuka came in to shut the A's down. The Rangers also got another quality start from Robinson Tejeda, who pitched 6-plus innings and only gave up three runs.

Except, that's not really Hank Blalock. He's #9. There's actually no #12 on the roster right now. The spring training roster had Ramon Vazquez as #12. Maybe that's who that is.
