Right now, as I type and pick at my bottom lip, the Promise House shelter for runaway, homeless, and at-risk kids in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is holding their annual online auction fundraiser.
The auction features "must-have items" such as Dallas Mavericks playoff tickets, Dallas Cowboys tickets, sports memorabilia, golf outings, Disneyland passes, spa getaways, beauty packages, fine art, and gift certificates for restaurants all over town.
Log on here to bid. All proceeds go to providing free services to thousands of vulnerable kids and their families in the metroplex
Don’t miss out — bidding ends May 2, 2007.
Opened in 1984, Promise House is a non-profit agency who works to stabilize and offer hope to more than 8,000 youth and families in crisis.
