Arlington, Kennedale, and Mansfield get good grades from Texas Education Agency
Mid-cities towns Arlington, Kennedale, and Mansfield districts all "passed" when the Texas Education Agency released its annual ratings Wednesday.
The ratings are based on how many students passed the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills. Schools can be rated exemplary, recognized, acceptable or unacceptable.
No schools in the districts were rated unacceptable, which is a big accomplishment. Six schools in Arlington and five in Mansfield improved their ratings. Ratings dropped at seven schools in Arlington and three in Mansfield. Kennedale schools had no changes at all. Check the Web site for more details.
