Sunnyvale ISD receives “Exemplary Rating”
Only 632 public school campuses in the country received an Exemplary Rating for 2007.
For the first time since 2003 Sunnyvale ISD received an Exemplary Rating. Superintendent Doug Williams is pleased to announce that Sunnyvale ISD is one of only 19 Public School Districts to receive an Exemplary Rating.
In addition, Sunnyvale Elementary School received an Exemplary Rating under the leadership of Principal Ron Hounsel. In its first year of operation, Sunnyvle Middle School, led by Principal Dr. Diana Freeman, also received an Exemplary Rating. Only 632 public school campuses received an Exemplary Rating for 2007.
Mr. Williams complemented the diligent efforts, vision, and concern for students by the districts' teachers, aides, and administrators in achieving this Exemplary Rating.
