Great Wolf Lodge, hotel/indoor water park, being built in Grapevine
Grapevine will be privy to one of the crazy new-fangled ideas in the hotel industry: an 80,000 square foot indoor water park. The as yet unfinished Great Wolf Lodge, located at 1400 Texas 26, recently hosted a guided press tour. We were not invited. But they were, so read more about it there. Great Wolf Lodge has 10 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, all offering similar amenities.
One question is this: The article states that you "have to stay to play" but that one woman was already planning her kid's birthday party there. Does that mean every kid at the birthday party is going to have to get a room at the hotel? I'm not clear on how this staying and playing policy works.
