Art Institute of Dallas announces “Fashion Forward” event

1

Let's celebrate with a ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION! (ZZzzzz....)

At 6 p.m. on Wed., Aug. 29 at Victory Park, the Art Institute of Dallas will celebrate the launch of its two new fashion-oriented bachelor degree programs by hosting an open-to-the-public roundtable discussion on careers in fashion, along with the educational and resource opportunities put one on the path to such careers.

For those not so easily amused, don't fret: there'll be more to this celebration than just talk.

At 8 p.m., following the roundtable, a fashion show will be held at the nearby American Airlines Center Plaza. The show will feature a preview of the 2008 Spring/Resort collection from Abi Ferrin, named Texas’ Next Top Designer by Dallas Fashion Incubator in November of 2006.

Further details regarding this event will be forthcoming; keep a fashion eye on this site for the latest.

There will be an announcement made during the course of the evening regarding two $10,000 tuition scholarships - one for each of the new fashion degree programs.
