Burglars break into U.S. Congressman Sam Johnson’s Richardson office
Late Wednesday evening, burglars hit the office of U.S. Congressman Sam Johnson (R), who represents the third district of Texas. Rep. Johnson was not in the office at the time of the burglary, but an employee did walk in the the men tearing through the congressman's things. When spotted they left, only taking some computer monitors. Police do not believe it's a Watergate-esque break in.
Representative Johnson, 76, recently received a knee replacement surgery and will be taking the August adjournment period to rest and rehabilitate.
