Flower Mound to profit from sale of criminal property
FLOWER MOUND Having helped foil two money-laundering schemes, the Flower Mound police department will get a $367,000 windfall, thanks to a program in which the government can sell off the property of criminals and keep the cash.
The money will be used to upgrade the radio communication system. Which seems kindof boring. Why not take a cruise? Or go on a shopping spree. Or maybe facials for the whole staff.
