Dallas-based Brinker International to sell Romano’s Macaroni Grill
Brinker International is selling off Romano's Macaroni Grill, after its revenue stayed flat for the fiscal year ending in June 2007.
Macaroni Grill is Brinker's second-largest concept, with 230 locations. Since 2004, Brinker has ditched Rockfish Seafood Grill, Corner Bakery Cafe, and Big Bowl Asian Kitchen brands -- I.E., any of its chains that are actually GOOD. Its top brand is Chili's Grill which has 1,220 locations.

monogodo, says:
The last time my wife and I went to Macaroni Grill, we sat at our table for 15 minutes, and not one staff member stopped to ask if we would like to order a drink or anything. The last straw was when a waiter made eye contact with my wife, but kept walking past our table without saying a word.
I called the Guest Services number and have yet to hear back from the manager or anyone else.
So while their food is good, their service has taken a definite turn for the worse.

Yeah, the Macaroni Grill in Mesquite that had been there for years closed down a month ago. Did a newly-built Twin Peaks nearby have anything to do with it? Let's just say that's the breast explanation for now.
