W.E. Greiner students donate artwork to new animal shelter
In related news, kids' drawings suck.
On behalf of the City of Dallas, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Elba Garcia in May accepted artwork created by students at W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy.
The paintings of dogs and other animals were donated to the city’s new Dallas Animal Shelter, which is scheduled to open in the fall.
The artwork will be auctioned off at the grand opening of the shelter, 1818 N. Westmoreland, to which the Greiner student artists will be invited.
Proceeds from the auction will be used for the shelter’s adoption outreach efforts.
