TxDOT’s list of structurally deficient bridges includes two in Dallas

DALLAS — In the aftermath of the August 1 bridge accident in Minneapolis, Texas' Department of Transportation released a report pin-pointing bad bridges in Texas; two low-rated bridges are located in high-traffic parts of Dallas, including two over the Trinity River.

i tried to sift through the report last night to determine the two bridges in Dallas. it appeared that the "two" bridges they referenced were both Sylvan Avenue: one being the South Levee over the Trinity River, the other being the North Levee. i called TxDOT today to confirm, but their media folk are preoccupied with the <a href="http://www.pegasusnews.com/blogs/pegasusnewsblog/2007/aug/15/erin-rice-kill-you/">hurricane</a>...
