Clear Channel Radio is launching an online "consumer/dealer automotive solution", DFWAutoplex.com, which it calles "the first local automotive lead generation website launched by a radio group."

Everyday folk can list their cars for sale along with dealers who can not only "list their entire new and pre-owned inventory complete with pictures and detailed vehicle information but, most importantly ... benefit from the local lead generation the site is designed to produce."

The site will be promoted through the Clear Channel's five local radio stations: KHKS, KDMX, KDGE, KZPS and KEGL.

... and I see a local TV station that operates on two channels in DFW is starting up their own version called dfwvehicles.com. Looks like everyone wants in on the market previously cornered by Belo and cars.com. My boss does not like me kicking the corners of my monitor when I am e-shopping for cars though...
