Tollway rates getting a hike starting September 29

Email Print Tell us your story Comments (3)

The North Texas Tollway Authority is raising rates beginning Sept. 29.

Cash customers get hit the hardest: They'll pay 25 cents more, while those who've succumbed to the pressures of signing on to the tag system will pay only a dime more. And you can expect more rate hikes, as local politicians have been hammering the NTTA to raise them even higher.

Please, T.G. would you please expand you article to say which politicians have been hammering the NTTA to raise them higher. I may be voting for them and not know it.

Thanks in advance

The NTTA is about to tackle the Trinity Toll Road and the new 121 face lift. They need to start raising some cash, especially for the Trinity Toll Road. It will not generate enough traffic to pay for itself. It does take you toward Seagoville after all. All you PGB and DNT riders start forking it over!

We are witnessing our country being sold off piece by piece to foreign interests. It has nothing to do with there not being money for the roads. It has everything to do with raping the American people and reducing Americans to a serf class.

NO TOLL ROADS NEEDED, JUST INDEX THE GAS TAX

I agree with the video except for the Strayhorn part.
