Wakeland tennis preparing for season, new challenges
Last season, Wakeland tennis overcame some early growing pains to capture the District 9-3A titles.
The Wakeland tennis coach, Steve Schkade, doesn't want a repeat performance of last fall. Getting over their early stumbles, the teams rebounded to win district championships. Here's a preview of what's to come, which includes a reference to the always delicious Slurpee.
