German discount grocer eyes Denton for major distribution center
According to this report, Denton occupies the catbird seat in negotiations to attract what would become the city's largest distribution center.
Aldi, a German-based discount grocer with designs on Texas expansion, would receive $1.67 million in tax breaks from the city of Denton if they decide to locate there.
In addition to the distribution center, Aldi plans on opening 25 stores in D/FW including two in Denton; specific locations are yet to be announced.
