North Texas Food Bank announces six new Directors for 2008
The six include four new members.
DALLAS The North Texas Food Bank announced six new Board of Directors positions for fiscal year 2008, beginning July 1. Frank Roby moved from President-Elect to President of the Executive Committee, and W. Lee Coleman Jr. of Staubach was named President-Elect. New Board members include Christina Durovich, Greg Schaffner, Jon A. Wolkenstein and Tania Hepfner Conroy of DLA Piper US LLP. Hepfner Conroy was also named legal counsel.
Frank Roby is CEO of Holmes Murphy Texas, one of the largest business risk advisory firms in the state. He is also a board member and shareholder in the parent company, Holmes Murphy & Associates Inc. Frank has more than 30 years of industry experience, including advisory work for a broad spectrum of major International and U.S. employers as well as local public and privately held businesses. In addition to his position at the NTFB, Frank is a member of the Executive Committee for the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, where he chairs the Committee on Talent Workforce and Education.
Lee Coleman is a Managing Director at Staubach and is responsible for advising clients on real estate mergers and acquisitions strategy. His responsibilities include marketing, strategy implementation, coordination and review of market research with a special emphasis on portfolio analysis. Lee has received Staubach's Top Achiever Award six times since 1999.
Christina Durovich has more than 20 years of experience in clinical and research healthcare planning and financial feasibility, as well as facility operations and risk management. Christina serves on several community boards, including The Family Place, Camp John Marc, Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (chairing the construction of a replacement facility), Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Dallas, Children's Medical Center Women's Auxiliary and volunteers on the Texas Stampede.
Greg Schaffner has been in the food distribution industry for 34 years and currently serves as Southwest Region President of US Foodservice. In that position, Greg's responsibilities include eight distribution centers in 10 states. Greg has also held management positions with Performance Food Service, Alliant Foodservice and Kraft Foodservice.
Jon A. Wolkenstein is an assurance partner in Grant Thornton's Dallas office and is the office's industry marketing leader. Jon's 22 years of public accounting experience has run the gamut from start-ups to multibillion-dollar corporations. Jon's community activities include a position on the Board of Elders at Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano and as a Board Liaison for Boy Scout Troop 198.
Tania Hepfner Conroy's litigation practice focuses on commercial litigation, and her specific areas of experience include complex contractual disputes, construction litigation, business torts, media litigation, and civil appeals. Tania has been involved in resolving disputes in federal and state courts in a number of jurisdictions and has experience both in the courtroom and with many types of alternative dispute resolution.
