DALLAS Dallas police were looking for a man in a dark-colored Mustang who tried to kidnap Katie Smith, 14, on Thursday at her home near Lake June and Jim Miller Roads.
Smith says she went out alone to use a pay phone in order to call her sister, and that he drove up and told her to get in the car, then grabbed her arm. She kicked him and ran. Her grandfather said she knew better than to be going out alone like that.
So all of that is definitely awful but the weirdest part is that she was leaving the house to use a pay phone to call her sister?
