Suspicious device in Haltom City turns out to be a cooler
HALTOM CITY The Midway Motel at Belknap and Layton Avenue in Haltom City was evacuated after it received a threat, sufficiently serious that officials shut down the whole block. A suspicious device was found; but it turned out to be an ice chest full of water. The Red Cross showed up to hand out drinks.
