Man arrested in Arlington after shooting, 2-hour standoff with police
ARLINGTON A man identified as Marcus Cooper was arrested in Arlington Sunday afternoon after firing shots at another man and then barricading himself in a house with a woman. No was hurt in the incident, which occurred in the 1100 block of North Center Street. After holding the woman for two hours, Cooper peacefully surrendered to the police. It was not clear whether the woman was a hostage or not. She was questioned by police, but was not accused of a crime.
