Man shoots, kills himself after firing at wife outside Garland Wal-Mart
Sunday evening around 7 p.m., Garland police responded to a report of shots fired outside the Wal-Mart on Garland Road. When they arrived on the scene officers found Shyrica Monique Porch, 28, crouched outside her vehicle with a serious but non-life threatening gunshot wound to the head. Her husband, Damon Raynall Porch, 29, was found inside the car, dead, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police will investigate further but believe that Mr. Porch fired at his wife before shooting himself.
