Fashion at the Park

Reserve your seats now for Fashion at the Park, presented by Cadillac, the not-to-be-missed fall fashion runway event at NorthPark Center with 19 top designer shows and events featuring the best of 2007 fall, holiday and resort collections. The fall event, November 1 – 4, returns with even more excitement and a larger show schedule. Fashion at the Park offers the public an exclusive experience usually reserved for celebrities and fashion-insiders — an unprecedented opportunity to view the latest fashions first and “shop the shows.”
An 18,000-square-foot tent complex located between Nordstrom and Macy’s will house day and evening runway shows featuring the latest collections from: Nordstrom, CH Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Billy Reid, Custo Barcelona, Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Barneys New York, Diesel, bebe, Macy’s, Dillard’s, MaxMara, Neiman Marcus, Saltaire and MNG by Mango. Dillard's Spring/Summer 2007 Fashion in the Park
Throughout the event patrons will sip Möet & Chandon Champagne, glacéau smartwater and special Fashion at the Park cocktails made with Hennessey Cognac in the Samsung Fashion Lounge, which features a 324-square-foot bar, a raised DJ booth surrounded by interactive product displays featuring Samsung’s stylish phones and accessories, lounge seating and Samsung plasma screens showing Fashion at the Park runway footage. With its prestigious reputation for award-winning design and high-fashion glamour, Cadillac will introduce its all new 2008 CTS in the Cadillac Design Gallery, the ideal spot for fashion aficionados to enjoy their time in between shows. A Cadillac fashion wall, located on the red carpet at the entry of the luxury tent complex, will be a key attraction for paparazzi photos.
Lancôme’s National Artistic Director Ross Burton and his all-star makeup team are creating all the makeup looks for Fashion at the Park. Lancôme star artists will also be on hand to provide touchups in the Lancôme Beauty Bar in the Samsung Fashion Lounge. Lancôme will also feature the signature Fashion at the Park Color Fever Lipstick in Red and Sensual Java, sold at the Lancôme | Boutique—exclusive to NorthPark Center—and available for purchase with Fashion at the Park tickets online.
The U-shaped runway, surrounded by 500 reserved seats, features a tiered layout allowing maximum visibility with 190 front row seats. The Designer Circle, located inside the runway, will offer an experience usually reserved for celebrities, buyers and editors. All seats are reserved and tickets are available by logging onto www.northparkcenter.com (fees apply), or at the NorthPark Center Concierge, located outside Neiman Marcus on Level One. Tickets prices vary starting at $25. A portion of ticket sales from Fashion at the Park runway shows and events benefit a wide variety of Dallas-area charity partners.
"I need an Uber Fashion Pass!"
A limited number of Über Fashion Passes will give style seekers the ultimate access to Fashion at the Park: front row seats to 18 runway shows and events, an exclusive VIP swag bag, complimentary valet parking throughout the event, and one ticket to the Saturday evening gala. The Über Fashion Pass, priced at $1,800, is available for purchase online.
The Saturday evening gala, an invitation-only night of fashion, live music and dining presented by Samsung, Neiman Marcus, The Mansion on Turtle Creek and NorthPark Center, will feature a special appearance by Tory Burch and runway show featuring her resort and pre-spring 2008 collections, benefiting the Nasher Sculpture Center.

Vogue Living Book Launch, presented by Dillard’s
This fall marks the return of Vogue Living—the magazine devoted to inspiring environments created by the most admired tastemakers. It reveals how the stylish, talented and intriguing women featured in the pages of Vogue really live, decorate and entertain.
In conjunction with the issue, Vogue Living Editor Hamish Bowles, also known as European Editor at Large for Vogue and a respected authority on the worlds of fashion and interior design, will launch his book entitled Vogue Living, published by Knopf. Celebrate the occasion, November 2 at 4 p.m. with high tea at Fashion at the Park hosted by Hamish Bowles, featuring a presentation on the making of Vogue Living and a book signing at Dillard’s. Guests will receive a signed copy of the Vogue Living book. Tickets are $100; a portion of the ticket sales from this event will benefit Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
In Vogue Fashion Photography Exhibition
In celebration of Fashion at the Park, NorthPark Center is proud to showcase a retrospective exhibit of 30 fashion photographs from In Vogue: The Illustrated History of the World’s Most Famous Fashion Magazine (Rizzoli New York). This free exhibit features stunning images from the 20th century’s most seminal photographers, tracing the evolution of fashion over the last 100 years, as edited by the world’s most influential fashion magazine. Located on Level One between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, the exhibit runs from November 1 through December 3.

Upon arrival, guests will receive a complimentary Fashion at the Park welcome amenity. The hotel recently announced a complete multimillion dollar redesign project that adds modern design elements and pays tribute to its signature historic architecture. The new Mansion Restaurant, the Chef's Room and Mansion Bar will debut this October.
