Tarrant County College’s South Campus announces 2007-2008 theater season

The Tarrant County College South Drama's venue, The Carillon Theatre, has the longest history of any theatre in the Tarrant County College District. They will be celebrating their 40th year during the 2007-2008 season, and they have just disclosed the lineup:

  • TCC South Drama: The First 40 years, from October 18-20. A student-produced performance celebrating the 40th anniversary of the opening of South Campus. Directed by Lindy Benton-Muller.
  • Sylvia, from November 29 - December 1. Written by A. R. Gurney, it is a modern romantic comedy about a marriage and a dog. Directed by Jason Morgan.
  • Medea Odea, from February 28 - March 1. An evening of works by female playwrights as part of Women’s History Month Presentation. Directed by Lindy Benton-Muller.
  • Extremities, from April 24-26. Written by William Mastrosimone. During an attempted rape, a woman captures her attacker and proceeds to torture him. Her roommates return home and struggle to determine who is guilty of a crime, the woman or her would-be rapist. No reservations taken. Directed by Jason Morgan.

All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and no reservations or late seating is allowed. For TCC Students/Faculy/Staff it is free; Other Students/Seniors us $3 and for the General Public it costs $6. If you need more info, call the box office at 817-515-4642.
