DALLAS — The Dallas Historical Society is seeking the return of 21 items stolen from a collection at the Hall of State in Fair Park. Items missing include a Bible that belonged to the Beeman family, some of the earliest settlers of Dallas, and a photo of the Dallas Shakespeare Club, dated 1911. The Historical society suspects that the items were stolen during a recent two-day film shoot.

It's odd that a network television show, which hires off-duty Dallas police officers to secure its filming locations so plots aren't leaked, would be liable for so much loss.

Prison Break staffers cannot officially comment about this incident.

But according to one knowledgeable source in the industry, these items could have been temporarily relocated elsewhere within the museum by a propmaster.

Or they could've inadvertently been loaded on to a prop truck where they'll be discovered later.

the Prison Break folks filmed at a friend's house last year; it was a simple scene, looking in the front door from his porch, but they moved things they didn't want in the scene. i wouldn't be surprised if the items were misplaced in a similar manner.

It is all to common that items get mistaken as props. The old saying is never let a production crew use your house in a scene. You might come home with a new hole in the wall, or items broken. In this case missing property.
