Plano mother who threw daughter over stairwell blames schizophrenia
PLANO Padmaja Enjeti, 37, blames a chemical imbalance as the reason why she threw her two-year-old daughter over a stairwell twice, most recently Wednesday when the daughter's skull was fractured. Enjeti told the police the daughter was being "fussy." The daughter and Enjeti's 8-year-old son are now in foster care. Her lawyers say she suffers from schizophrenia and was taking Haldol, the same drug taken by Dena Schlosser, another Plano mother who cut her 10-month-old daughter's arms off.
