UPDATE: DART Rail down Monday morning between Mockingbird and Union Stations

— As of 6 a.m. Monday, DART Rail service has been stopped between Mockingbird Station and Union Station. A bus will take both northbound and southbound customers between the two stations.

The delay is due to some broken overhead power line south of Cityplace Station. Repair work is underway, but it is not known how long it will take to complete the repairs. Customers should add at least 30 minutes to their commute. We apologize for the inconvenience.

UPDATE: There WAS some additional trouble on the Rail but hello DMN, that is sooooooo 2 hours ago. As of 11:13 a.m., DART says service is restored, everything is back to normal, you can go about your business, nothing to see here, etcetera.

kevinh, says:

This is the second time in about 2-3 months that service between Mockingbird and Downtown has been unavailable. At least the last time it was during the weekend...
